Programming Fundamentals for Electrical and Computer Engineers

Explore basic problem solving, design, and implementation techniques for imperative programming; structured programming in the C/C++ language; and introduce the fundamental concepts of structured programming. Topics include software development methodologies, data types, control structures, functions, arrays, and the mechanics of running, testing, and debugging- elementary data structures as well as asymptotic analysis. Topics also include recursion, as well as fundamental data structures such as stacks, queues, and linked lists. Programming languages include C/C++ and Rust. 3 credit hours.
