An introduction to the field of clinical psychology. The course includes a discussion of different mental health professions, an overview of training models and graduate study in clinical psychology and a survey of assessment methods and therapeutic approaches used in modern psychotherapy. Professional issues in clinical psychology as well as different career paths in clinical psychology will also be discussed. 3 credit hours.
