This course examines the politics of policymaking and substantive policies in the closely related areas of energy, environmental protection, and conservation of natural resources. We will focus primarily on politics and policy at the national and state levels in the United States, with some attention to international issues and other countries as time permits. Our substantive focus will include case studies of contemporary controversies. 3 credit hours.
