Attention will be given to the legal, ethical, and cultural environment under which human resource management operates. Topics include selection, hiring, training, compensating, motivating employees, and creating inclusive workplaces. Students will learn about the emerging trends and practices that will affect the way organizations manage their human resources with special emphasis on strategic human resource management and information systems. 3 credit hours.
