This course offers in-depth exploration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in supply chain management (SCM) across various business contexts and domains. Students will read research papers on state-of-the-art AI algorithms used in SCM, dive deep into technical implementations of these AI algorithms, critically evaluate effects and implications of AI implementations for various stakeholders, conduct analyses of ethical considerations and bias mitigation strategies in AI-driven SCM, and engage in advanced discussions on the future of AI in SCM. Students will engage in various readings and assignments to facilitate their understanding of AI in transforming SCM. 3 credit hours.
Prerequisite: OPRE 6301 or OPRE 6359.
