Exploration and practice of vocal, acting, communication, movement, and analytical skills needed for success in the performance of staged musical drama including light opera, operetta, opera, and golden age musical theater. Includes role preparation and analysis, structure of song and scene, and technical aspects of theatre. May be repeated for credit as topics vary (9 semester credit hours maximum). 3 credit hours.
Prerequisites: Audition required and instructor consent required.
