Practical and theoretical aspects of numerical methods for partial differential equations are discussed. Topics selected from: finite difference, finite element and boundary element approximations for partial differential equations. Application of methods will be illustrated using MATLAB. 3 credit hours.
Prerequisite: MATH 6313 or equivalent.
