Global Climate Change
ISNS 2366
School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics
The course will integrate the four main Earth Sciences - Geology, Oceanography, Meteorology, and Astronomy - and will demonstrate the inseparable connection between these disciplines and how their physical and chemical interactions determine local, regional, and global climate conditions. It will also be demonstrated that unique forces in today's modern world as a result of human activity are changing the climate in ways that may yield significantly negative outcomes for life on Earth in the not-too-distant future, depending on actions taken by human civilization today. 3 credit hours.
Offering Frequency: Each semester
Grades: 245
Median GPA: B
Mean GPA: 2.844
