This lecture and lab course covers the fundamentals of wireless communication from the perspective of digital signal processing (DSP). Physical layer concepts such as linear modulation, demodulation, and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing; synchronization, channel estimation, equalization, and MIMO will be translated into practice with the help of software defined radio platforms. Non-Enroll credit hours.
Prerequisite: EESC 6390 or equivalent.
