Students will learn spectroscopic techniques for structure determination of organic compounds. Techniques will include infrared spectroscopy (IR), mass spectrometry (MS), and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR, 13C NMR and 2-dimensional NMR). 3 credit hours.
