Topics include cancer pathology, histology, cell cycle regulation, oncogenes, and tumor suppressors. Coverage of cancer genetics and (epi)genetics. Examination of studies informing clinical trials and FDA-approved therapies. 3 credit hours.
Prerequisites: (Two courses from the following - BIOL 5410 or BIOL 5420 or BIOL 5440 or BIOL 5460) and department consent required.
