This course will introduce students to the interdisciplinary world of contemporary conceptual art, focusing on how visual artists create/orchestrate events, happenings, and performances for the camera. Students will explore contemporary visual culture, researching and experimenting with a variety of strategies to create still and moving images. May be repeated for credit (6 semester credit hours maximum). 3 credit hours.
Prerequisite: ARTS 1316 or ARTS 2316 or ARTS 2318 or ARTS 2348 or ARTS 2350 or ARTS 2380 or ARTS 2381 or ATCM 2301 or ATCM 2302 or ATCM 2350 or instructor consent required.
