We will explore the principles, technologies, and applications of augmented reality (AR). AR is a rapidly evolving field that blends the physical and digital worlds, offering endless possibilities across various industries. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on projects, and discussions, you will gain a solid understanding of AR concepts and develop practical skills for creating AR experiences. Topics include: AR hardware, mobile AR, tracking, gestures, rendering, user interaction, marker based vs markerless AR, and anchors. 3 credit hours.
Prerequisite: ANGM 2310 with a grade of B or better.
