Vector calculus, Radon-Nikodym density functions, vector calculus-based probability theory, and Markov random fields with machine learning and artificial neural network modeling applications. Emphasizes applications of theory to unsupervised, supervised, and reinforcement learning machines and deep learning with MATLAB software implementations. This course is a required prerequisite for ACN 6349 and HCS 6349. 3 credit hours.
